Little Weaver Bird is a contemporary take on the unique music and poetry of Molly Drake. Often overshadowed by her son Nick Drake whom for many has become a cult figure; Molly’s rich sound-world poignantly reflects a bygone era of song writing. Fronted by award-winning Irish vocalist Lauren Kinsella (Snowpoet), this new quintet features some of the U.K’s most in demand musicians; James Kitchman, (guitar) Riley Stone Lonergan, (sax) Andrea Di Biase, (bass) and Phelan Burgoyne (drums) each bringing their unique sensitivities to explore and expand on the music of Molly Drake.
